The SAT is a standard test that is given on paper and is based on information and math. It was made by the College Board and the Education Testing Service. It is mostly done to help kids get ready for college. The SAT is the usual test that students in the US and other English-speaking countries take to get into college. Seven times a year, people are taken in. High school students most often got a total score of 2400 on the new SAT, which is ranked from 200 to 800.

Structure

1. Critical Reading (Note: This covers both critical reading and reading at the sentence level and vocabulary level).
2. Math (80 minutes): Includes number and operations, math and functions, geometry, statistics, probability, data analysis, and statistics.

• No use of calculator (20 questions lasts 25 minutes)
• Use of calculator (38 questions and lasts 55 minutes)

3. Writing (Note: Includes Grammar, Vocabulary, and Usage).
